nudibranchs
one of my new co-workers had a very cool background on her desktop, so i asked her what it was, because it was very neat-o. it looked like some sort of anime character, but was very intriguing at the same time. apparently, it was a nudibranch, or a toxic “sea slug”.
today, said co-worker sent me a link to the entire series created and photographed by david doubilet for national geographic. i also found a pretty cool flickr set of nudibranchs as well.

i’d love to! i should really get into scuba diving. i love the ocean so much, and i can only imagine how awesome it would be to dive around here.

yeah, i would probably be a bit scared, but still, i think it would be worth it. nudibranchs would definitely make it worth it.
